Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of convertbankstatement.online (the "Service"), operated by an individual based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What the Service does

convertbankstatement.online is an AI-powered tool that converts bank statement files (PDF, JPG, PNG) into structured spreadsheet formats (Excel, CSV). You upload a file, the tool extracts transactions, and you download the result. No account is required for basic use.

2. Pricing and payment

A preview of the first few transactions from any statement is shown at no charge — no sign-up or payment required. To download the full converted file, a one-time payment of $1.99 USD per statement is required.

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We never see your card details.
The $1.99 fee covers one statement conversion and the resulting download. It is not a subscription.
Prices may change in the future. The price shown at checkout is what you will be charged.

3. Refunds

Our refund policy: if a conversion fails entirely, or the output is wildly inaccurate (wrong transaction amounts, missing transactions, obviously incorrect data), email us at support@convertbankstatement.online within 7 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund. Include your order ID and a description of the problem.

Refunds are not issued for: minor formatting differences, statements in unusual formats the AI could not parse cleanly, or change-of-mind after a successful conversion. We assess refund requests fairly and quickly — typically within 2 business days.

4. Accuracy disclaimer

The Service uses AI to extract transaction data. While accuracy is high, you must verify the output before relying on it for any financial, accounting, tax, or legal purpose. We do not warrant that extracted data is complete, correct, or fit for any specific purpose. Errors can occur, especially with scanned, rotated, or low-quality documents.

You are responsible for reviewing the output and confirming it matches your original statement. convertbankstatement.online is a convenience tool, not a certified financial record-keeping service.

5. Acceptable use

You may use this Service for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

Upload files you do not own or have no right to process
Use the Service to process data belonging to others without their consent
Upload combined or merged PDFs containing multiple bank statements — each $1.99 conversion covers a single statement up to 10 pages and 200 transactions
Attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or scrape the Service
Use the Service for any unlawful financial activity, including money laundering or fraud
Attempt to extract or discover our API keys, system prompts, or proprietary infrastructure

We reserve the right to block access to users or IP addresses that abuse the Service.

6. Your data

You retain full ownership of any files you upload and any data extracted from them. We claim no rights over your financial data. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how files are handled (short version: they are never stored).

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, and its underlying code are owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the Service or its interface without permission. The extracted transaction data from your own bank statements belongs to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to financial loss resulting from errors in extracted data, loss of data, or inability to access the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific conversion giving rise to the claim (i.e., $1.99).

9. Service availability

We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may suspend or discontinue the Service at any time. If the Service is unavailable at the time of your payment, contact us for a refund.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Rajasthan, India.
